iHuman Outreach Program

Social Workers - Available Monday to Friday

List of Services:

  • Application assistance for Income Support, Employment Insurance and Jordan's Principle.

  • Referrals to other agencies such as Food Bank, youth housing referrals, or NIHB Counseling.

  • Assistance with obtaining ID and health care card.

  • Assistance with accessing health records.

  • Assistance in navigating Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) and banking systems.

  • Assistance with gaining employment experiences and opportunities.

  • Resume Development

  • Support while navigating the justice system.

What to Expect

  • Outreach involves a formal intake process that takes 20-30 minutes to complete.

  • An outreach team-member will help you identify your needs and set goals. You will be referred to iHuman programs that provide support in the areas you’ve identified.

  • If you require support that iHuman can’t provide, you will be connected with other community agents.
