Arts & Music Programs

Though creativity, youth develop their artistic and creative talents and skills and empower themselves to make positive changes toward healthy life choices. Includes: program director, supplies and transit costs.

Friday Night Challenge

Keeping youth healthy and sober – this initiative has youth facilitating a weekly meeting to support their peers in their goals to remain clean and sober. Includes transit and participation costs.

Woven Journey

This program aims to help young moms develop their parenting skills, deepen or form attachments to their children, and develop life skills and education goals. Includes: social worker, activities, speeches, day care, child needs, food honorariums for moms and children.

Cost for each family
$ 285 per month
7 families x $ 285 = $ 2,000

Music and Visual Art Studios: Contact:

A good solid command centre chairman-of-the-board, Captain Picard-style chair for our recording console.

The music studio and the visual art studio need 4-6 stools with good solid bases. 

Fashion: Contact:

Denim jackets and vests (All genders/sizes) for an up-cycling project to breathe new life into them, but we need a few to get started!

LINKS Mental Health Clinic: Contact:

Plants, trimming, and small planters for a hanging wall installation for the Links Clinic.

Books (new and gently used for the free library) – no textbooks please.

As always, we are looking for baby/toddler clothes, pampers (all sizes), baby wipes, and formula.

Christmas Donations   We are starting to collect hygiene products, Christmas gift cards and cash, and children’s toys (All ages and genders). We ask that all donations be specified and marked “Christmas.”
