About Us

Founded in 1997, iHuman Youth Society has grown from a grassroots initiative into a vital community resource in Edmonton. We provide wrap-around services that include trauma-informed care, mentorship, and access to essential resources. Our mission is to ensure that every young person has the opportunity to thrive, regardless of their circumstances.

Our Programs

  • iSucceed Program: Addressing immediate needs and providing essential support to at-risk youth.
  • LiNKS Mental Health Program: Arts-based programming focused on trauma-informed care and integrated health services.
  • Soul Food Kitchen: Nourishing meals served daily to support the well-being of youth.
  • Outreach: Utilizing a systematic and collaborative approach to map resources, identify challenges, and connect marginalized youth with vital services, ensuring they receive the support they need in real-time.

  • Career Hub: Empowering youth with the tools, skills, and opportunities necessary for employment and personal growth through job readiness training, mentorship, and access to career resources.

  • Family Program: Promoting healthy attachments and empowering families to navigate complex social systems.
  • Arts Programming: Creative workshops and initiatives designed to foster self-expression, healing, and community engagement through the arts.
